AnesthesiaOur goal is to make anesthesia as safe and comfortable for your pet as possible. Anesthesia is individualized for each patient based on factors such as the type of procedure, pre-existing conditions, age, breed, and overall health.
Every anesthetic procedure is closely monitored by a trained veterinary technician. We also utilize advanced monitoring equipment that measures your pet's pulse oximetry, heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, as well as ECG to track the electrical activity of the heart throughout the procedure. This monitoring equipment helps us make adjustments as needed depending on how your pet is responding to the anesthetic. |
Pain Management
Pain control before, during, and after surgery is important to us and to the comfort of your pet. For this reason, we require post-operative pain medication with every surgical procedure. Pain medication is individualized for each patient and procedure to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible.
