Pet Poison Helpline

(855) 764-7661*

If your pet has ingested something potentially toxic or poisonous, we highly recommend contacting an animal poison control center for advice. These services are staffed with specialists that can issue advice, and tell you if veterinary treatment is necessary. They will also consult with your veterinarian in the best course of treatment. Make sure to have the information of the product your pet ingested and approximate quantity (pill bottle, chemical name/concentration, plant name, etc).

*There is a consultation fee for this service, which includes follow up calls with your veterinarian.

Daytime Emergencies

While we are not staffed to provide 24/7 emergency veterinary care, we can manage many pet emergencies during our business hours. Our diagnostic tools such as laboratory testing, ultrasonography and radiographs allow us to quickly assess your pet's needs and create a treatment plan for your pet.

If your pet is experiencing an emergency during our regular business hours, please call (512) 392-5877 so our staff can prepare for your arrival.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"Can't say enough about this amazing clinic!! So very thankful for their patience, skill and care! I have a very temperamental canine and Dr. Gowens and her staff were so wonderful with my girl! We just relocated to the area, so starting over with a new vet can be a challenging process, but this was the smoothest transition! Looking forward to working with them for years to come!" - Christie G.

"Everyone was professional, helpful, and friendly and took the very best care of my horses and donkey. Highly recommend Dr. Hermansson who was so kind and patient." - Nicky L.

"Kings Highway has been great! My pets have been taken care of by Drs. Gowens, Hermansson, and Rackley. They are all very caring and are very helpful and honest when going through options with you and have helped me make the best choices and care plans for my pets." - Candace B.
