Pet Poison Helpline
(855) 764-7661*
If your pet has ingested something potentially toxic or poisonous, we highly recommend contacting an animal poison control center for advice. These services are staffed with specialists that can issue advice, and tell you if veterinary treatment is necessary. They will also consult with your veterinarian in the best course of treatment. Make sure to have the information of the product your pet ingested and approximate quantity (pill bottle, chemical name/concentration, plant name, etc).
*There is a consultation fee for this service, which includes follow up calls with your veterinarian.
