Comprehensive Physical Examination
This head-to-tail examination includes weight and an evaluation of the heart, lungs, skin and coat, eyes, ears, teeth and gums

Vaccination Evaluation
We will help evaluate your pet’s lifestyle to determine which vaccinations are recommended for your pet. For most pets, this includes Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella, although your pet may not be due for each vaccine every year. Some additional vaccines, such as Canine Influenza or Canine Rattlesnake, may be recommended depending on your pet's exposure.

Heartworm Test
This blood test detects the presence of adult heartworms. Annual heartworm testing is recommended for all dogs, even when dogs are on monthly heartworm prevention. Heartworm medications are highly effective, but dogs can still become infected.

Parasite Screening (Fecal Test)
This test checks for intestinal parasites that may live in your dog’s gastrointestinal tract. Since they are usually hidden from view, the only way to detect and identify most intestinal parasites is by doing a fecal test. **Please bring a fresh fecal sample to your appointment**

check check check

Basic Chemistry Profile and Complete Blood Count
A basic blood chemistry profile, including SDMA, provides information about your dog’s kidneys and liver, as well as other functions of the body, such as blood sugar and hydration. A CBC can identify infection, inflammation, and anemia.

check

Expanded Chemistry Profile and Complete Blood Count
An expanded blood chemistry profile, including SDMA, provides additional information about your dog’s kidneys, liver, and pancreas, as well as other functions of the body, such as blood sugar and hydration. A CBC can identify infection, inflammation, and anemia.

check

Infectious Disease Screening
This screening identifies whether your dog has been exposed to heartworm or other important tick-borne diseases.

check check

Thyroid Function Test
A thyroid function test detects whether your dog’s thyroid gland is functioning properly. Thyroid disease is very common in older dogs.

check

Complete Urinalysis
This analysis assesses the overall health of your dog’s urinary tract, including the kidneys and bladder. It identifies infection or inflammation in the urinary tract as well as the presence of crystals or abnormal cells.
